These medications are benzodiazepines which work best with anxiety disorders. Medication along with therapy are the best ways to treat anxiety and generalized anxiety disorders. The main thing is to take your medications as prescribed and go to your therapy appointments for this to work. The medication works the best and when therapy is added, it works even better for anxiety.
